Eucerin Hyaluron Filler Eye Cream

I once read that the three things a woman cannot do without is moisturizer, sunblock and eye cream. I have to admit that I have been slacking back a bit on the eye cream part and *gasp* discovered I had tiny crows feet wrinkles around the eyes! In my search for a more affordable eye cream, I found Eucerin Hyaluron Filler Eye Cream available in the pharmacies. Eucerin’s Eye Cream is sold in a slender silver tube which attracted the packaging sucker in me! :P It is a tiny tube but eye cream is usually used very sparingly and this tube has lasted me for several months already.

Benefits Of Hyaluronic Acid

The secret ingredient in the Eucerin Hyaluron Filler Eye Cream is Hyaluronic Acid. It works by plumping your skin from inside to achieve a smoother surface and reducing wrinkles. The eye cream promised to immediately restore skin volume and have instant results which sounds impressive but I would recommend using it over a longer period of time to see permanent results. My review of the Eucerin Hyaluron Filler Eye Cream below.

How To Apply Eucerin Hyaluron Filler Eye Cream

The Eucerin Hyaluron Filler Eye Cream squeezes out easily from its silver tube. I like that the eye cream is available in a tube as it minimises contamination from fingers which a tub version of eye cream is sometimes prone to. A tiny bit is all you need to gently pat around your eye contour area every morning. Do not ever rub your eye area when applying cream as the skin around the eyes are delicate and rubbing can cause additional wrinkles to appear.

The instructions recommend it for use in the morning and evening, however, I tend to avoid using it at night as it contains sunscreen of SPF10 which is pointless to be used at night. The cream absorbs quite easily and I found that I was easily able to apply my eye makeup after a few minutes. There isn’t any smell and it does not leave any oily residue on the fingertips which works well.

Does It Work?

I have been using the eye cream for approximately 2 months now…although I sometimes forget! I noticed that my crows feet and fine lines around the eyes seem to have smoothened out which is a good sign! :) However, I am not sure if this effect is temporary and whether the wrinkles will return once I stop using it. Does anyone have a similar experience?

I was also told by a friend that since it works for the eye area, it might work on wrinkles around the other parts of your face too. That’s what I will be trying on next and I will share if it does!

The Eucerin Hyaluron Filler Eye Cream is easily found in any Guardian or Watson stores. I cannot remember the retail price but it is below RM100 for a 15ml tube which can last quite a long time. The best time to buy it is during the Guardian sale when the Eucerin range goes on discount!

Smile only with your lips, never with your eyes!
