Cranberries are power packed with antioxidants which do a fantastic job in preventing heart problems. Cranberries have been also found to reduce the formation of low-density cholestrol or “bad cholestrol” which sticks to artery walls and can cause heart attacks.
Cranberries are excellent for your health and make a delicious and low-fat snack. Ocean Spray cranberries are really yummy snacks. They resemble raisins but are a little tart compared to raisins. I had previously bought dried cranberries from Bangkok but found that those tend to have a slightly oily sheen to them which Ocean Spray does not have. It is even more comforting to know they do wonders for my body whenever I munch on them!
So pick up a bag the next time you are in a supermarket! However, cranberries are expensive in Malaysia so do be prepared to pay a little more.
