I had to do my nails in a hurry on Saturday night and not having a regular nail salon to visit, I decided to google for a salon nearby and Creative Nails Boutique in Hartamas Shopping Centre popped up. Deciding to give them a chance, I took a drive down and decided to try them on a whim to see if they could accommodate me.

Creative Nails Boutique has a tagline that claims “Natural Looking Nails for Hands & Feet“. They must be doing quite well as they have 2 salons in two different areas of Hartamas Shopping Centre. The first salon I tried was at Lot F22-B, 1st floor and they directed me to their second one several doors down, next to Sen Heng, as they were already full. Although it was already past 6pm, both salons were rather busy with quite a number of patrons.

Read about my experience below.

Creative Nails Boutique does not have a manicure and pedicure package and you will have to opt for two separate treatments. They started the pedicure by soaking my feet in warm water before they started work on both my hands and feet. Compared to my previous experience at Colour Culture – OPI Nail Bar, the treatment at Creative Nails seemed a little more pampering. Their pedicure and manicure treatments both had a relaxing scrub followed by a warm towel which they wrapped my hands and feet in for a while to moisturise them. They use Creative nail polish however the scrub and moisturising products are their own.

The girls at Creative were also quite friendly and helpful. I am a real klutz so when I smeared my nail polish whilst getting up to go to the drying area, they very quickly repaired it by wiping off everything and repainting my nail. One grouse I had was that their drying areas is towards the front of the salon. This means that you will have to get up from the chair you were having your pedicure and manicure in to walk to that area which increases the risks of your freshly painted nails smearing if you aren’t careful, like me.

I noticed that they even provided disposable slippers for a patron who had come with covered shoes so she could go home without smearing her nails. Overall, I paid approximately RM86 for both the basic manicure and pedicure which was a little pricey but alright for an indulgence every now and then! :)
