A New Use For Post-It Notes

I have always found Post-it notes very useful especially when I was studying as it played a very helpful role in highlighting important areas with their bright strips of paper. Post-it Notes is a very useful note paper concept. The paper is cut into little convenient square shapes and attached with some adhesive behind it to make it easy to stick on almost every surface.

However, I recently learnt a new use for Post-it Notes during my recent training exercise. The faciliators requested for Post-it Notes in a variety of colours and that was when I learnt that they were available in all kinds of bright colours including bright green and purple! During the training, we were asked to use the Post-its to chart process flows and flow charts and I was impressed at how useful they were for this purpose. Each activity was written on a Post-it and stuck onto the marvellous Instant Whiteboard sheets to chart the processes we had. The different colours available also helped to differentiate between the different departments and activities and helped to present a very clear overview of our existing processes.

On top of that, it was also useful for leaving feedback for our facilitators and for ourselves as it easily adhered to almost any surface, except for furry fabric surfaces. It is a great tool especially for presentations or workshops!
