First Coach to Singapore

I went to Singapore over the long weekend for a friend’s wedding and to squeeze in a tiny bit of shopping!
Now, with the soaring exchange rates and high costs of everything, I decided to take the cheaper travel option to Singapore and booked a ticket with First Coach. First Coach is the cheapest option for luxury coaches to Singapore and yet is a notch above the buses that leave from dirty Pudu Bus Station. Its office is located in Bangsar, behind the Bangsar LRT station and it very conveniently leaves from there as well. Like most of the luxury coaches to Singapore now, it uses the Second Link Crossing at Tuas so you no longer have to put up with the terrible crowds and traffic at Woodlands Immigration. It also very conveniently ends in Singapore at Novena Square which is just a hop, skip and jump away from Orchard Road!
The coach is pretty comfortable and although the seats are not as luxurious as those such as Airebus or Aeroline, it is still a very comfortable bus ride. The seats are split into 2 sections, one with double seats and the other with single seats for single travellers. The seats all come with little TV screens in front of you, just like airplanes and they offer a pretty good selection of movies. However, you will need headphones to listen to the movies you choose to watch and these are available for RM5 each. You don’t get a full fledged meal on First Coach but before the journey started, they handed out a bottle of water and a little chocolate bun each. They also make halfway stops in Pagoh for 20 minutes for passengers to alight for a pee break and some food if they want to.
So if you’re looking for a cheaper alternative than flying or taking a luxury coach to Singapore, do try First Coach. A one-way ticket from KL retails for RM45 whilst a return ticket is RM115. If you buy your tickets from Singapore, a one-way to KL is $33 while a return is $55. Do book early though as tickets do run out rather quickly.
First Coach is found at:

I took aeroline to singapore, and boy it was really a nice coach. RM150 for to-fro ticket. really felt like a plane ride.
you should try tht too if you have chance
PE says: Hi thanks for dropping by
I should try Aeroline but I find their pick up point from KL in Corus and drop off in Vivocity a bit inconvenient for me.
