Kanebo Revue Powder Review

I do not have perfect skin. In fact, I have some scars left from my acne-stricken teenage years and the occasional pimple to remind me of those terrible days! I also have to admit that I am rather lazy especially when it comes to making up in the wee hours of the morning before I rush out of the house to work.

Hence, talk about primers and foundation doesn’t really appeal to me all that much, simply because I tend to value my sleep more than waking up early to dab away at my face with a sponge and foundation. Because of this, I simply love my Kanebo Revue pressed face powder. I was first introduced to this powder by sis who is a huge Kanebo fan and I’ve never looked back since.

The pressed powder comes in a pretty case with a sponge and it’s so easy to use! Just swipe away at the pressed powder cake with the sponge and apply on your face. I tend to use long strokes to apply it all over my face and I never fail to be amazed at how smooth my face looks after that! Yes, using this powder makes your skin look as smooth as if you have just used liquid foundation underneath it. Even on bad days when my pimples decide to show or when my skin is looking blemished, the Kanebo Revue powder always does its job in covering it up to give me a smooth finish.

I’m sure with a good primer or foundation, your skin would appear flawless once you pair it up with the pressed powder. However, for lazy people such as me, I’m really happy with the results the powder gives my skin. At least I can go off to work with a smooth finish despite my blemishes below.
