I used to be a business traveller in my previous jobs. One of my most memorable trips was a short one we took to the Middle East to meet some potential investors. We had a day in the wonderful city of Dubai as our morning flight was only leaving that night. Our boss was kind enough to get us a hotel room in the Kempinski Hotel, Mall of The Emirates to freshen up in.

It was a gorgeous 5-star Dubai hotel attached to one of the biggests malls in Dubai – Mall of The Emirates. The lobby was modern with lots of sleek wood panelling and wonderful fresh flowers. Their receptionists too were really attentive and helpful in helping us obtain our room.

When we walked into our room, I was totally blown over by the luxurious settings of the room. It was one of the most luxurious hotel rooms I have ever stayed in! It came with a huge picture window that offered a picturesque view of the famous Burj Al Arab, twinkling away in the distance on Jumeirah Beach. The huge room opened to a dining area then a living area with a comfortable couch facing the flat screen. The finest touches were never missed in this luxurious hotel. The table came with a big bowl of fresh red apples and the fridge was stocked with all kinds of water from still to sparkling and the finest champagne!

A separate bedroom area led to the most comfortable looking, high king sized bed which I, unfortunately, never got a chance to even test out! It was nice and high like all good beds and looked amazingly soft and comfortable, just the thing for weary bodies!

The luxurious hotel bathroom was another masterpiece in marble and the finest chrome Grohe bathroom fixtures and fittings. It came with a huge bathtub set in marble and separate vanities so couples needn’t fight over who gets to use the sink first! There was another separate shower stall for those who wanted a quick shower instead of a leisurely soak. If I ever could have a dream bathroom, this would be it!

The Kempinski Hotel Mall of The Emirates is one of the finest and most luxurious hotels in Dubai. Every small thing is carefully thought of to make your stay as comfortable as possible. I guess there were some great business perks that came with the jet-setting in my previous job!
