Hi Nea – My power was higher than yours and although the procedure sounds scary, it is relatively safe as long as you go to a reputable centre. I highly recommend Optimax for their professionalism and expertise. I did mine around 3 years ago and the perfect vision is still there Although it does get a little compromised at times when my eyes are tired. The only side effects I experienced were dry eyes and some compromised vision at night.

hi, may i know wat was your power before lasik? how long does the perfect vision last? is there any side effects?

ive been thinking of lasik surgery – but im afraid it would not be worthwhile cuz my power is about 300 (i heard people with higher power is recommended to go thru lasik) – and the procedure sounds scary.

How much does it cost you?

PE says: It costed me slightly under RM5k but Optimax had a great interest free installment payment scheme which allowed me to pay the balance over a year. Do check with them on this scheme if you go with them for your Lasik treatment!
