I’m back after a long hiatus to bring you yet another of my favourite facial products. I’ve always had sensitive skin and in the past few years, although my skin cleared up, it was often dry. So I was pleased to see that my favourite skin care brand offered a slution in the form of Kanebo Blanchir Whitening Clear Conditioner Mask.

It is a mask that moisturizes dry skin while whitening it. It comes in the form of a cloth-like paper mask with cut out flaps for your eyes. It is a one size fits all mask so you might have some trouble fitting it over your face, like I did, as the holes for the eyes and nose didn’t exactly fit where I wanted them to. It comes sealed in a foil package. Peel off the top and you’ll find the folded mask inside, soaked with clear conditioner which acts as the hydrating agent. It’s delicious cold from the fridge and tremendously refreshing.

When you use the mask, do be careful not to keep it on your face when all the moisture has been absorbed by your face and the mask has started to dry out. I was warned by my beautician that it may actually have reverse properties of absorbing back the moisture from your face if left on after it has dried! So don’t put it on and go off to sleep as you will need to remove it after at least 15 to 30 minutes, depending on how dry your face is.

Thanks to this mask, my face now feels more moisturized and no longer has dry skin peeling from it like it used to. It’s truly a treat to come home after a long and busy day at work! :)
