Bring Home Organics For Less

I used to pass Country Farm Organics whenever I was in Bangsar Village and thought they were just another organic shop. I wasn’t really into organics partly due to the high price tag organic stuff usually come with. However, I used to notice lots of people buying here and decided to check it out. Their goods were approximately double of what you get in the wet market and maybe around 1.5 times that in the hypermarkets. Their vegetables and fruits did look incredibly fresh and juicy and I was rather intrigued by their display of organic breads in front of their shop.
On a whim, last week Sis and I took a jaunt out to their adjoining cafe for a quick lunch and were we pleasantly surprised! I blogged about our lunch over at the Pink Parisian so do hop over to see what a healthy and delicious lunch we had. The food prices were actually pretty reasonable cafe food prices with fried rice starting at RM6.90. The difference was that all their dishes came with a very healthy serving of vegetables, was less oily than other food and didn’t come with that horrid thirsty MSG after-taste. Plus, it was absolutely delicious! Nothing like what I had imagined organic food to taste like! It was so good that I saw a little girl from the next table lifting a huge plate to her lips, simply to down down the gravy that had come with her noodles!
Their cafe is rather popular and during lunch or dinner is always almost full. Their retail section is equally popular as I noticed lots of people coming in and out to do their grocery shopping throughout our lunch. I guess people are getting more conscious of their health and I have to admit, the delicious food at Country Farm Organics provides a much better alternative to eating oily and MSG-laden food elsewhere.
It truly is Organics for Less!
So go give it a try today!
