One thing I really liked in the Isetan store in The Gardens was their Isetan Beauty Garden, their first Skincare Centre. It’s an impressive area dedicated to beauty which offers facials and body massages by 4 famous brands – Estee Lauder, SKII, Kanebo and Shiseido. It’s located on the Ground Floor where the main cosmetic counters are and is a soothing little hideaway away from the hustle and bustle of the mall.

You walk into a soothing sanctuary of highly polished floors and wooden paneling where you start with a cup of tea in the waiting room area. There, you can take your time to browse through the latest magazines while waiting for your treatment. You then go up a really unique passageway where you’re walking on glass panels with smooth pebbles beneath you! It felt a little scary!

This passageway takes you to your treatment rooms which are located on either side of the passageway. There are 4 rooms, each catering to one of the 4 cosmetic brands. My guess is that there will definitely be quite a wait when business picks up, especially on weekends, since there are so few rooms. Right opposite it is a shower area where you can take your shower before or after your massage. There’s also a quiet rest area for you to attend to any needs you might have.

Finally, just before you exit to the hustle and bustle of the mall again, do stop by the make-up room which is fully stocked with a complete set of Shiseido makeup!
