Biotherm SunFitness

I’m very paranoid about the sun, thanks to a mom who insisted that I use sunblock and an umbrella whenever I went out. Today, when I see others battling pigmentation or freckles, I thank her for instilling that paranoia! Since I dislike the sun so much, sunblock is always part of my daily skincare routine. I used to use a Loreal one but when it finished and I found Biotherm’s SunFitness SPF50+ on offer, I decided to give it a try.

What I like about Biotherm is that they’re very mild and almost every of their product is specially formulated to minimize the risk of allergies which is great for my sensitive skin. Their sunblock comes in a tube with a “Sand-Proof” cap that turns to “Open” and “Close” for you to squeeze out the sunblock from a small hole to keep out sand if you’re on a beach and to minimize contamination. It felt quite thick but spread on well and absorbed very well into my skin. Because it was so thick, I didn’t need to use that much of it and after it went on, I was able to put my usual foundation and makeup without much problems. It moisturizes the skin while protecting it and best of all, keeps wrinkles away!

I definitely like this sunblock and wouldn’t mind continuing with it only if I can get it on offer! I believe it retails for over RM100 but a tube like that can last quite long as you don’t need to use too much of it at a time. Anything for your skin and keeping wrinkles away is a good investment! ;)

That is the sunscreen I am using on my face (bought on a MAS flight because I forgot to pack my sunscreen!) Turned out OK…pretty useful for all my “cannot avoid the sun” activities.
