Grand Hyatt Hotel, Singapore

I recently went to Singapore with sis and when we were looking for hotels, we were shocked to find that almost all the hotels in the little happening island were fully booked for that weekend! Luckily someone she knew managed to get us a room at the Grand Hyatt Singapore which was in the best location ever! Right smack on Orchard and right across the road from the drop-off point for our coach down!

Sis got us upgraded to the Club facilities which meant free breakfast, snacks, free-flow drinks all day and free internet! Even the lift area outside had a free-flow of fresh fruit daily ranging from apples and pears for guests to take as many as they wished. What really impressed me was their free-flow of Evian water in the lounge and the rooms! I drank my fill of Evian there!

The room was very comfortable and cosy with an understated elegance. The bathroom was very spacious and had a wonderful rain shower that was simply the perfect thing to come back to after a hard day of shopping! I loved how the bathroom had a little sliding door that led directly to the closet which meant you could get changed without having to leave the bathroom!

It was a great holiday as this was our first time staying in such a swanky hotel in Singapore. We especially loved its location which made shopping so fun and easy as we could always easily come back to the hotel to deposit our stuff or whenever we felt tired. Having a nice luxurious hotel to come back at the end of the day felt really nice too! Now I think I’m spoilt Only the finest 5-star hotels will do now! Hehe…
