I chanced upon an advertisement in the papers by De Beaute located in Lot 10. They were doing amazingly cheap packages of just RM280 for 10 sessions of diamond peel facials or massages. A friend who had been there before for their diamond peel facial told me that they were actually not too bad for that price. I wasn’t prepared to try the diamond peel facial as I’ve been told before that it can be quite damaging to the skin, however, RM28 for a first trial of a back massage sounded pretty good. So I hopped over to Lot 10 one weekend to check them out.

They’re located on the 3rd floor of Lot 10 and were originally from Singapore. When you walk in, you’ll see polished wooden floors with all kinds of gold and gilt decorations which may look ostentatious elsewhere but surprisingly fits in with the deco here! They have a big reception desk that curves around the entrance but what I found interesting was 2 separate small glass rooms with individual reception desks which I believe served as their consultant rooms.

The therapist takes you behind a sliding door to another area filled with smaller doors leading to individual massage or facial rooms. Everything had a very Balinese feel to it and it actually felt rather nice and relaxing. The massage room was darkened and though mine was a little small, it was very nicely decorated and very soothing.

My RM28 massage only lasted 45 minutes as that was what their trial session offered. However, my therapist was quite good and in that short time, managed to work out the kinks in my back and shoulders. Apparently they do promotions rather frequently in the papers as they’re trying to build their market here. I did notice that they were really crowded on weekends so it looks like they do have their regular clients.
