Holiday Tours & Travel

In light of the recent Matta Fair, I thought it’ll be fitting to review one of my favourite travel agents – Holiday Tours Malaysia. I first used their services on a whim when I had to purchase airline tickets for our family trip to Australia. I found the travel agent who attended to me really knowledgeable and helpful. Although she didn’t have to, she went out of her way to look for the best fares for us while helping us process all our necessary visas and approvals for free. She assisted us with looking for accommodation and was quick to recommend those she thought would be suitable for us. She even helped me process my friend’s visa for free when only I bought one ticket from her as he was using his Frequent Flyer Miles.
Since then, I’ve always approached her to buy my tickets. It’s hard to find a good travel agent and I found her one of the best around. She usually tries to give me the best ticket prices and accommodation options which fit in my budget. This was especially important since I preferred Free & Easy type of travel as opposed to guided tours.
I usually purchase a ticket and/or accommodation packages then opt to join the local tours in that country. Although it is more expensive this way, it allows me the opportunity to take my time to see the sights that interest me, be it spending hours in the British Museum or cruising by to check out Las Vegas luxury homes. I enjoy the freedom I have to explore each city and country at my leisure, to sit in the park for lunch if I feel like it, browse for hours in the local market or to simply soak up the culture that makes each city so unique. This is the kind of travel I enjoy most and Holiday Tours usually helps me do it the cheapest and easiest!
