Buff it Off!

My car has been in a terrible state. It has been filthy and dusty, especially after the recent rains. So last weekend, I got down and dirty with my car and set about giving it a good wash and polish. We had ran out of car shampoo but my dad told us that hotel shampoos work as well and surprisingly enough, it did! My car got clean in no time at all although some sections needed quite a bit of elbow grease!

My dad always advised us that a car wash is never complete without a coat of polish to help the dust wash off more easily the next time. So the next time we went to an auto accessories shop, I picked up a can of Kit car wax. I find Kit one of the nicest car wax I’ve used. It’s creamy texture goes on easily on the car body with the sponge provided. It then hardens to form a layer which when buffed off with a soft cloth, reveals a beautifully shiny car. It’s one of my favourite parts as the satisfaction I get from seeing my nice and gleaming car makes all the sweat and elbow grease worth it! Not to mention the great workout I get from washing my car!
