I’ve been really busy at work and despite the travel I’ve had to do for business, I can’t wait to take a holiday. I used to make sure I gave myself a nice holiday at least once a year to an international destination but I seem to be behind on mine this year! In fact, I recently took a look at my leave form and saw that I had only used up 6 days of leave this year and we’re already in the last quarter of the year!

While nice, quiet and idyllic places like the cabins under the Pigeon Forge cabin rental service sound really tempting, I’m not sure if I can stomach a whole week in the wilderness with nothing but peace and quiet around me! I guess, at the end of the day, I’m still a city girl who needs my internet and shopping malls! :P

So, I’ll be off to check out the Matta Fair this weekend to see what looks good there and what cheap tickets or packages I can get. Be careful though if you plan to book with the Matta Fair. Their terms are very strict and most of the time, you are not allowed to change your travel plans or can only do so with a hefty surcharge. So unless you’re very sure of your travel dates, I always think it’s better to pay a little more and allow yourself some flexibility. After all, holidays are about having fun and being relaxed instead of having to work yourself up!
