KFC Chicken Poppers
I’ve been longing to try the KFC Chicken Poppers each time I hear it on the radio or see it on the TV. Ah…the power of advertising! If you haven’t heard the ad on the radio, it’s hilarious. Something a guy whose girlfriend is crying cos he ate up all 11 of the Poppers and left her only one!
My opportunity to try them came during lunch today when a colleague who was leaving bought us a farewell lunch of KFC. I eagerly dug into the Bucket when I heard there were Poppers. Took out one, bit into it with much anticipation and….BLEK!!
I thought it would taste something like those hyperly-processed chicken nuggets or meatballs but it wasn’t. It tasted and looked slightly less processed but horror of horrors, the insides looked a little like undercooked chicken meat encased in a breaded exterior! :O I grudgingly finished that Popper and swore off Poppers forever.
I don’t know. Maybe the KFC here had a bad day and undercooked the Poppers. Have you tried a KFC Popper? If you have, what did you think of them?

Ah! Finally someone who agrees with me! Don’t try it if you’re thinking of trying it, PB… not worth your time and money!
