Teva - Because Everyday is a Running Day

I’m not much of an adventure buff so when I signed up for a full adventure day with Nomad Adventure which involved caving and white-water rafting, I had to buy a new pair of sandals just to go get rough and dirty in! Their recommendation was Teva sandals so during lunch, I hopped over to the mall to see what Teva sandals were. Teva is essentially a brand of footwear catered to people who love getting down and dirty with the outdoors. They carry a wide range of shoes, sandals and flip-flops for serious trail runners, swimmers and all kinds of active people (which I’m not!)

A pair of sandals like those above didn’t come cheap. They were retailing for RM99 in Jusco and I think this was one of the lowest ranges. There were more comfortable looking ones going at about RM120 a pop but I wasn’t prepared to spend so much on something I wasn’t sure I was going to use that much of.

However, when I used my Teva sandals the next day during our caving adventure, I was so glad I listened to sis and splurged on a good pair of sandals.

• The slipper was light which made walking over stones and climbing easier.
• Their open design made it easy to clean off the mud and dust from the cave after our caving adventure.
• The base of the slipper had excellent grip which gave me more confidence to climb up the rocks with nothing but a rope and my feet!
• Their brightly coloured straps were pretty!
