Boh Lemon Myrtle Tea

I usually drink green tea at work but my stash of green tea has recently finished and I haven’t had the time to get a new box so I rummaged in the office pantry and found a box of Boh Lemon Myrtle tea bags.
Deciding to give it a try, I took out a bag and soaked in hot water and was pleasantly surprised to smell the lovely lemony fragrance that almost instantly came up. It evoked memories of quaint tea houses, scones and jam and happier times. Quite a mood-uplifter at a dreary work day!
Taking a sip, I found that it was light in flavour with that same delicious lemon and myrtle smell. It reminds me a little of walking through an Australian bush and sniffing the scent of the wild bushflowers and eucalyptus trees. It has a hint of spiciness a little like how eucalyptus oil does which I guess comes from the myrtle which is a native Australia herb.
Overall, it’s a nice and pleasantly soothing drink to have and has the amazing effect of calming my nerves on a busy work morning. It even retains the scent at the end of the day although the tea bag’s fully used up. But it still cannot replace my green tea as I think a teabag of lemon myrtle is quite a bit more expensive since it comes in only small boxes of 25 bags at any time.
